A monogram adds a personal touch by incorporating a letter, or a combination of letters, onto an item - often a name, a single initial, or a person’s full set of initials. While there are many methods to monogram an item, I specialize in machine embroidery with custom digitizing to ensure each piece is beautifully crafted and uniquely yours.
I get this question all the time! In short, a digital file is created for the embroidery machine to read, the item is carefully hooped and loaded into the machine, and then the design is stitched out. Of course, there’s a bit more to it behind the scenes, but I’ll spare you the technical details!
Sewing and embroidery may both use a needle and thread, but they serve different purposes. Sewing involves constructing items like clothing from pattern pieces, while embroidery is the art of embellishing fabrics with monograms, lettering, appliqués, and decorative designs. Just like sewing, embroidery can be done by hand or machine. I specialize in machine embroidery, ensuring each piece is precision-crafted with professional digitizing for a flawless finish.
I frequently create items that require a sewing machine, such as hooded towels and stuffed plushies, and can assist with attaching certain patches. However, I do not offer alterations (hemming, garment resizing, etc.) or repairs (zippers, buttons, etc.). That said, I’m happy to collaborate with your tailor or seamstress to ensure your needs are met. If you don’t have one, I’d be glad to refer you to a trusted professional I work closely with!
Absolutely! I specialize in monogramming customer-supplied items—it's the heart of my business! If the item is suitable for machine embroidery, I’m happy to personalize it for you. If you have any questions about whether your item is a good fit for embroidery, feel free to reach out—I’d love to help!
Embroidery involves numerous variables, making it impossible to apply a universal pricing formula. As a fully custom business, I tailor pricing to each project rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. However, please note that there is a minimum charge of $15.00 per item.
For the most up-to-date turnaround times, please check my Facebook or Instagram. Prompt approval of your digital proofs allows me to complete most orders within one to two days. However, larger or more intricate projects may require additional time. Please note that turnaround times may be slightly extended during peak seasons, such as graduation and the holidays.
Need your item sooner? Rush service and expedited shipping are available for an additional charge—please inquire about availability.
Shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, towels, bags, blankets, saddle pads, etc. I have both commercial and flat-bed machines. If the item can clear the bobbin arm of a machine while hooped and a needle can go through it, chances are it can be stitched!
While I make every effort to maintain full functionality of every item, certain features, such as pockets, may be sewn shut during the process. Additionally, some placements may not be feasible for machine embroidery. I’m happy to discuss the best options to ensure a high-quality result.
Yes! I also offer professional logo embroidery whether you need branding on polos, jackets, hats, bags, or other items. I ensure clean, precise stitching that represents your brand beautifully. See more info here.
My approach to monogramming and embroidery is different from a typical shop. You can choose from some of my most popular fonts, but I don’t believe anyone should be boxed in and given only a handful of choices. If you have something specific in mind or need to match an existing monogram, I have hundreds of fonts and can often find an exact match—or something very close.
As part of my process for most orders, I provide digital proofs for your approval to ensure accuracy and give you a preview of how the design will translate into stitches. Once the proof is approved, I print a template and place it on the actual item, sending you a photo for final placement approval. While these extra steps may involve some back and forth, my clients appreciate the attention to detail and clear communication. From the moment you place an order or drop off an item to the final stitch, you will know exactly what you’re getting!
