Your logo is one of your company's most important assets – it’s how your brand is recognized and promoted. At Topsy Stitches, we understand its significance and are committed to ensuring it looks its best!
If the stitch file (DST, PES, etc.) is available and the size remains the same, it can typically be used again. If the existing file does not stitch well, Topsy Stitches may suggest redoing it to obtain a crisper and more professional appearance and to stitch more efficiently, often reducing costs in the long run.
Note: Topsy Stitches does not possess or assist with obtaining files from other embroidery businesses.
The logo will need to be setup for embroidery. For reference, our setup fees for a left chest logo start at $50 and include one complimentary test stitch. Costs vary based on size and complexity, and significant edits or additional testing may incur extra fees.
As a fully custom business, there is no magic formula for pricing that accounts for all of the variables involved with embroidery. Pricing varies based on logo size, color changes, stitch time, and item type. We have a $15 minimum charge per item, but there is no minimum order quantity, and we offer bulk discounts.
Much like a car repair shop cannot provide an accurate estimate without first diagnosing the scope of the necessary repairs, we are unable to provide precise pricing until the setup process is complete and we have all the relevant details—such as colors, stitch count, size, item type, quantity, and other specifics—for your order.
Topsy Stitches is committed to delivering top-notch quality without compromising on time. After receiving your artwork and logo details, we'll provide pricing for the setup fees and time estimates. Once the setup fee is confirmed, we typically provide a test stitch within 7-10 business days. For larger or more complex logos, it may take a bit longer. Rush services are available for an additional fee.
Polos, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, blankets, towels, bags, backpacks, etc. If the item can be securely hooped throughout stitching, it can usually be embroidered.
Machine embroidery is comprised of thread and, in most cases, fabric. Fabric is rarely smooth, flat, or stable. It is typically tightly woven thread that, while not always visible, creates dimension that can affect the look of the embroidery.
Many items pull or stretch, and with the needle punching thousands of tiny holes into the fabric during the process, the material may shift in different directions, affecting the finished look of the embroidery. Golf shirts, t-shirts, and tech-weave shirts are examples of stretchy material. Woven button-down shirts, sweatshirts, towels, canvas bags, and backpacks have less propensity to stretch. To compensate for shifting, dimension, and texture, a backing is used to stabilize the fabric during the process and help keep the stitches looking great over time.
Sometimes, combining the endless variables of embroidery with a logo may result in a less-than-optimal appearance. Should this be the case, minor adjustments might be suggested for a better result, but only if this does not compromise the integrity of the logo. While rare, some items may not be suitable for embroidery.
